Luke works in the firm’s employment and business litigation practice groups. Luke has represented clients in arbitrations regarding breaches of contract and fraud allegations, Title VII discrimination cases before the EEOC and federal court, whistleblower retaliation matters, overtime cases brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and severance negations, among other matters. Luke previously clerked for a Georgia Superior Court Judge sitting in the Mountain Judicial Circuit. As a clerk, Luke gained familiarity with a diverse range of issues arising in civil litigation, allowing him to deliver effective results for his clients.

Luke graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2022. While at Emory, he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory International Law Review and Secretary for the Federalist Society. His Comment, Parents Versus Parens Patriae: The Troubling Legality of Germany’s Homeschool Ban and Textual Basis for Its Removal (36 EMORY INT’L L. REV. 201 (2022)) was published in the Emory International Law Review’s Volume 36, Issue 1. Prior to law school, Luke graduated from Vanderbilt University with highest honors in History. Luke is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before all Georgia trial courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Luke has also been admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

Outside of work, Luke is active in the community as a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He enjoys weightlifting, model railroading, fly fishing and traveling with his wife, a professor at Emory University, and his daughter.
