Walter H. Beckham, III, born in Boston, Massachusetts, was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1977. He earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from Emory University. He also obtained his M.B.A. at the University of Michigan.
Mr. Beckham has served as the Chair of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association; the State Chair of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers; as a member of the Law School Counsel and Board of Governors of Emory University, Co-chair of the Committee on Professionalism and member of the Judicial Procedure and Administration Committee of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and served on the Long Range Planning Committee for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
